Vox Mana Privacy Policy
Vox Mana is an unofficial Magic: The Gathering fan tool for faction alignment and deck-start guidance. This policy explains what information is used when you take a reading, save a result, or sign in with Google.
Effective Date
Effective May 5, 2026.
What We Collect
Vox Mana may collect the following information when you use the site:
- Your reading answers and resulting guild or college placement.
- Your selected preferences such as format interest, budget band, and experience level.
- If you choose Google sign-in, account details made available through authentication such as your email address, display name, profile image, and a provider-specific user identifier.
- Basic technical and security information needed to operate the site, such as timestamps, request metadata, and anti-abuse logs generated by hosting, authentication, or API providers.
How We Use Information
Vox Mana uses this information to:
- generate and display your MTG faction reading;
- save your reading so you can return to it later;
- restore your saved result after Google sign-in;
- operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service;
- limit abuse of reading, save, and authentication flows.
How the Reading Works
Archscry evaluates the answers you choose in the quick reading against a curated placement model built from published Magic: The Gathering sources and Vox Mana's interpretive faction taxonomy. The result is guidance for faction fit and Commander deck-start research, not an objective diagnosis or official Wizards canon.
Fan Project & Intellectual Property
Vox Mana is an unofficial fan project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or produced by Wizards of the Coast or Hasbro. Magic: The Gathering, all guild and college names, card names, and related lore are intellectual property of Wizards of the Coast. Faction placements, lore summaries, and deck guidance on this site are based on publicly available game materials and community sources compiled by the site operator. No original Wizards of the Coast content is reproduced for commercial purpose.
Third-Party Services
Vox Mana relies on third-party services to operate. These may include:
- Google, for optional account sign-in;
- Supabase, for authentication, database storage, and edge functions;
- third-party sites you choose to visit through outbound deck and card links.
Those services operate under their own terms and privacy policies.
Sharing
Vox Mana does not sell your personal information. Information may be shared only as needed to run the service, complete authentication, process AI-powered readings, comply with law, or protect the service from abuse.
Retention
Saved readings and related account data may be retained for as long as needed to provide the service or maintain account continuity. Operational and security logs may be retained for a shorter period based on provider defaults and security needs.
